Pizza Maker/Line Cook

Who we are:

Pizza Cornicione is the sister restaurant of Glasshalfull in Carrboro NC. “Cornicione” is the Italian word for the edge or rim of the pizza which we like to think of as – the crust. The cornicione of a Neapolitan pizza is an airy, raised edge that’s crunchy on the outside and light and soft on the inside. Pizza Cornicione prepares wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizza, prepared with the finest ingredients by a great kitchen team.

We are seeking someone who has a passion for food, and a hunger to continue to learn.

What you’ll do:

• Stretch dough, and build pizzas
• Maintain positive working relationship with team members
• Ensure that all recipes, product, food preparations and food execution meet the restaurant's specifications and commitment to culinary excellence. To the highest degree possible, ensure that kitchen & physical plant is kept clean, safe and up to all “A/100” level health code standards.
