Pizza Packaging Associate

Job Summary

Ameci Pizza & Pasta is hiring a Pizza Packaging Associate to support order preparation, packaging, and takeout operations. This role is responsible for accurately packaging pizzas and menu items, verifying orders, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, maintaining packaging supplies, and helping ensure customers receive complete and properly prepared orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Package pizzas, pasta, appetizers, beverages, and other menu items accurately
• Verify customer orders before packaging and handoff
• Select appropriate containers, bags, and packaging materials
• Ensure food is packaged securely and presented according to service standards
• Communicate order details and special requests with kitchen staff
• Coordinate completed orders with counter staff, customers, and delivery drivers
• Label and organize pickup and delivery orders accurately
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked packaging station
• Restock boxes, containers, bags, utensils, napkins, condiments, and other supplies
• Monitor packaged orders to ensure all required items are included
• Maintain clean and sanitary food packaging and service areas
• Assist with basic food preparation and order assembly when needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, pizza, food service, packaging, retail, or customer service experience is an asset but not required
• Strong attention to detail and order accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions and packaging procedures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask

Preferred Skills

• Experience in pizza or restaurant takeout operations
• Familiarity with food packaging procedures and order-processing systems
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple orders during busy service periods
• Good customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
