Pizza Payroll Coordinator

Job Summary

Totally Rad Pizza is seeking a Pizza Payroll Coordinator to support payroll processing and employee compensation administration for restaurant operations. This role helps maintain accurate employee records, track work hours, verify timesheets, process payroll information, and coordinate with management to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while following company policies and applicable payroll requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate routine payroll processing for restaurant employees.
• Collect, review, and verify employee timesheets and attendance records.
• Check work hours, overtime, approved leave, and other payroll-related information.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and documentation.
• Enter payroll data into approved payroll systems.
• Coordinate with restaurant managers to resolve missing or incorrect timesheet information.
• Track employee status changes, new hires, and terminations for payroll updates.
• Assist with reviewing payroll summaries and identifying discrepancies.
• Respond to routine employee questions about pay statements and payroll procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and personal information.
• Assist with payroll reports, recordkeeping, and administrative documentation.
• Coordinate with accounting or human resources staff regarding payroll matters.
• Follow applicable payroll procedures, tax requirements, company policies, and deadlines.
• Perform additional payroll and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous payroll, bookkeeping, accounting, administrative, or office experience is an asset.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Basic knowledge of payroll procedures and employee timekeeping.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and computer-based recordkeeping.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to meet recurring deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience processing payroll in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Familiarity with payroll software and employee timekeeping systems.
• Knowledge of overtime calculations, attendance tracking, and payroll documentation.
• Understanding of payroll tax and employment recordkeeping requirements.
