Pizza Prep Cook

Job Summary
Idaho Pizza Company is looking for a dependable Pizza Prep Cook to support the kitchen team with fresh ingredient preparation and daily pizza production. The role requires good organization, attention to food quality, and the ability to keep prep work moving efficiently during busy restaurant hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, cheese, meats, vegetables, and other toppings.
• Wash, cut, portion, and organize fresh ingredients.
• Prepare ingredients according to restaurant recipes and portion standards.
• Keep pizza and prep stations stocked throughout the shift.
• Label, date, store, and rotate food products properly.
• Assist pizza makers and other kitchen staff with service preparation.
• Check ingredients for freshness and quality.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized preparation areas.
• Help unload and store food deliveries when needed.
• Reduce food waste through accurate preparation and portioning.
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen cleanup.

Qualifications

• Previous food-preparation or restaurant kitchen experience is helpful.
• Basic knowledge of safe food handling and kitchen sanitation.
• Able to follow recipes and preparation instructions accurately.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced pizza restaurant.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen lifting.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Idaho Pizza Company is an Idaho-based pizza restaurant chain serving pizza, salads, sides, desserts, and beverages. The Boise Broadway location is at 1677 S Broadway Ave and is one of the company's Boise-area restaurants.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
