Job Summary

Romano's Pizza is seeking a dependable, friendly, and customer-focused Pizza Restaurant Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide excellent service to guests. This role involves assisting customers, taking orders, supporting pizza preparation, serving food and beverages, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, and restocking supplies. The ideal candidate is a reliable team player who can work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take dine-in, takeout, and pickup orders accurately.
• Assist with preparing pizza ingredients and organizing food preparation stations.
• Support pizza assembly, topping preparation, and food packaging as needed.
• Help prepare and serve pizzas, appetizers, beverages, and other menu items.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and assist with basic menu selections.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, kitchen spaces, and service stations.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to established procedures.
• Restock ingredients, pizza boxes, containers, napkins, condiments, and other supplies.
• Follow food handling, storage, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and coworkers to ensure timely order preparation and service.
• Communicate customer concerns, supply shortages, and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods.
• Follow company policies and established customer service standards.
• Perform other restaurant service and support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
