Job Summary

Black Sheep Coal Fired Pizza is seeking a friendly, dependable, and team-oriented Pizza Restaurant Worker to support daily restaurant operations and provide a positive guest experience. This role involves assisting customers, supporting pizza and food preparation, serving orders, maintaining clean work areas, and helping the restaurant team operate efficiently during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with pizza preparation and the preparation of other menu items according to established procedures.
• Support food preparation, portioning, packaging, and service activities.
• Deliver pizza, food, and beverage orders promptly and courteously.
• Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Clear tables and help maintain a neat and welcoming restaurant environment.
• Restock food, packaging, utensils, napkins, and other restaurant supplies.
• Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Help maintain proper food presentation, order accuracy, and service quality.
• Communicate customer concerns, special requests, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Handle food, supplies, and equipment carefully and responsibly.
• Keep workstations organized and properly supplied throughout the shift.
• Support efficient communication between kitchen and customer service areas.
• Follow company policies and established restaurant service standards.
• Perform other restaurant and food service duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza restaurant, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items, food preparation procedures, and restaurant standards.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on restaurant duties throughout a shift.
• Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional during busy service periods.

The restaurant team works together to provide quality food and attentive service while maintaining clean, organized, and efficient daily operations.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.0 per week
