Job Summary

Caserta Pizzeria is hiring a Pizza Restaurant Worker to support daily pizza preparation, customer service, food production, and restaurant operations. This role assists with preparing ingredients, assembling and serving orders, maintaining clean work areas, restocking supplies, and supporting the restaurant team during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients
• Assist with assembling pizzas and menu items according to recipes and customer orders
• Operate pizza ovens and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently as trained
• Take customer orders and process payments accurately when assigned
• Prepare, package, and serve dine-in, takeaway, and delivery orders
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen and service areas
• Restock ingredients, toppings, packaging, beverages, and restaurant supplies
• Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, counters, and food preparation surfaces
• Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage
• Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods
• Respond to routine customer questions and communicate special requests to the appropriate staff
• Follow food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties

Requirements

• Previous pizza, restaurant, food service, kitchen, or customer service experience is an asset but not required
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food handling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and payment-handling abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a pizzeria or restaurant
• Familiarity with pizza ovens and kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Familiarity with POS and order-processing systems
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Good customer service and problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
