Pizza Service Associate

Job Summary

Home Slice Pizza is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Pizza Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and provide excellent service to guests. This role involves taking orders, assisting with pizza preparation, serving food and beverages, processing customer payments, maintaining cleanliness, and working with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take dine-in, takeout, and pickup orders accurately.
• Assist with preparing pizza ingredients, toppings, and other menu items.
• Support pizza assembly, food preparation, packaging, and presentation as needed.
• Serve pizzas, appetizers, side dishes, and beverages promptly.
• Check orders for accuracy and completeness before serving or packaging.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and assist with selections.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Restock ingredients, food containers, napkins, utensils, beverages, and other supplies.
• Clean food preparation areas, utensils, and equipment according to established procedures.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Communicate customer requests, order concerns, and supply needs to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Support kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Help maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and order accuracy.
• Perform other pizza service and customer support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous pizzeria, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn pizza preparation and restaurant service procedures.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
