Pizza Service Associate

Job Summary

Bollo Woodfired Pizza is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Pizza Service Associate to support daily restaurant operations and deliver a positive dining experience. This role involves taking customer orders, assisting with pizza preparation, supporting food and beverage service, maintaining clean work areas, restocking supplies, and collaborating with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take dine-in, takeout, and phone orders accurately.
• Confirm pizza sizes, toppings, modifications, and special requests.
• Assist with preparing pizza ingredients, toppings, sauces, and other menu items.
• Support pizza assembly and order preparation according to established procedures.
• Assist with portioning, packaging, and organizing completed orders.
• Serve pizzas, appetizers, sides, and beverages promptly when assigned.
• Check orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper presentation.
• Answer basic customer questions about menu items and available options.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process payments when assigned.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, kitchen workspaces, and service stations.
• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, utensils, and equipment according to procedures.
• Restock ingredients, pizza boxes, containers, napkins, condiments, and other supplies.
• Follow food handling, storage, sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house team members to support timely service.
• Handle food, equipment, and restaurant supplies carefully and responsibly.
• Communicate customer concerns, supply shortages, and equipment issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Support coworkers during busy service periods while maintaining order accuracy.
• Perform other pizza service and restaurant support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with kitchen and service team members.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn pizza preparation methods and restaurant procedures.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices.
