Pizza Service Coordinator

Job Summary

Pizza Mart is hiring a Pizza Service Coordinator to support daily restaurant service, customer orders, delivery coordination, and front-of-house operations. This role helps coordinate orders, communicate with kitchen and delivery teams, assist customers, maintain accurate service records, and help ensure efficient and timely service.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate dine-in, takeout, and delivery orders accurately
• Receive customer orders by phone, in person, or through approved ordering systems
• Communicate order details and special requests to kitchen staff
• Monitor order progress and help ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with delivery staff regarding routes, addresses, and delivery instructions
• Respond to customer inquiries about orders, delivery status, and menu items
• Process payments and maintain accurate transaction records
• Verify orders before they are packaged or dispatched
• Maintain organized service counters, order records, and customer information
• Assist with resolving routine customer concerns and service issues
• Restock packaging, beverages, and front-of-house supplies as needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, pizza, food service, customer service, or order coordination experience is an asset but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer, POS, and order-entry proficiency
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Preferred Skills

• Experience with restaurant POS or online ordering systems
• Familiarity with pizza delivery and order coordination
• Strong problem-solving and customer service abilities
• Good time management and communication skills
• Ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen and delivery teams

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
