Pizza Service Worker

Job Summary

Element Wood Fire Pizza is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Pizza Service Worker to support daily restaurant operations and provide a welcoming experience for guests. This role involves assisting customers, taking orders, supporting pizza and food preparation, serving menu items, maintaining clean work areas, and working collaboratively with the restaurant team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and communicate special requests to the appropriate team members.
• Assist with pizza preparation and other food service activities according to established procedures.
• Support food preparation, portioning, packaging, and order assembly.
• Serve pizza, food, and beverages promptly and courteously.
• Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and available options.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and process customer payments accurately.
• Maintain clean and organized dining areas, counters, service stations, and workspaces.
• Clear tables and help maintain a neat and welcoming customer environment.
• Restock food, beverages, packaging, utensils, napkins, and other restaurant supplies.
• Assist kitchen and front-of-house team members during busy service periods.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
• Help maintain accurate orders, proper food presentation, and consistent service quality.
• Communicate customer concerns, special requests, and service issues to supervisors.
• Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout each shift.
• Handle food, supplies, and equipment carefully and responsibly.
• Communicate inventory or supply needs to supervisors.
• Work cooperatively with coworkers to maintain efficient restaurant operations.
• Perform other pizza service, restaurant, and customer support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous pizza restaurant, restaurant, food service, hospitality, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a restaurant team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced food service environment.
• Good attention to detail and order accuracy.
• Willingness to learn menu items, pizza preparation procedures, and restaurant standards.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow food safety practices.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and performing hands-on restaurant duties throughout a shift.
• Ability to remain courteous and professional during busy service periods.

About Element Wood Fire Pizza

Element Wood Fire Pizza provides a welcoming restaurant environment focused on pizza, food service, hospitality, and customer satisfaction. The restaurant team works together to provide quality food and friendly service while maintaining clean, organized, and efficient daily operations.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week
