Pizza Shift Manager

Job Summary

Bisonte Pizza Co. is hiring a Pizza Shift Manager to oversee daily pizzeria operations during assigned shifts. This role supervises restaurant staff, coordinates kitchen and front-counter activities, monitors food quality and customer service, and helps ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pizzeria operations during assigned shifts
• Supervise, train, and support kitchen and front-of-house team members
• Assign tasks and coordinate staff workflow based on business needs
• Monitor pizza preparation, food quality, portion control, and order accuracy
• Ensure customer orders are prepared and served efficiently
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Handle routine customer concerns and escalate complex issues to management
• Monitor inventory levels and restock ingredients, toppings, packaging, and supplies
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe kitchen, dining, and service areas
• Operate or oversee POS and payment-processing activities as required
• Follow food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and shift documentation
• Report equipment, staffing, inventory, and operational issues to management
• Perform additional restaurant and supervisory duties assigned by management

Requirements

• Previous pizza, restaurant, food service, retail, or hospitality experience is an asset
• Previous supervisory or shift leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Basic POS, cash-handling, and inventory skills
• Reliable, punctual, professional, and team-oriented
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible shifts

Preferred Skills

• Experience supervising a pizzeria or quick-service restaurant
• Knowledge of pizza preparation and commercial kitchen operations
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
• Familiarity with POS, scheduling, and inventory systems
• Good time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to coach and motivate restaurant team members
• Strong commitment to food quality, cleanliness, and safety

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
