Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble pizzas according to company recipes and quality standards, ensuring consistent product excellence
• Operate the Micros Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for order taking and cash handling
• Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality of all products served
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness throughout shifts

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation or food service roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient order processing and cashiering
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating order totals accurately
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating enthusiasm and reliability
