Pizza Takeout Associate

Job Summary

Boston Kitchen Pizza is hiring a Pizza Takeout Associate to support daily takeout, pickup, and customer service operations. This role assists with receiving orders, coordinating with kitchen staff, packaging pizzas and other menu items, processing payments, and ensuring customers receive accurate and timely service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide friendly, professional takeout service
• Receive dine-in, takeout, pickup, and phone orders accurately
• Enter customer orders into the POS system
• Communicate order details and special requests to kitchen staff
• Monitor order preparation and coordinate customer pickup times
• Verify completed orders for accuracy and completeness
• Package pizzas, beverages, and other menu items securely
• Process cash, credit, debit, and other approved payment transactions
• Answer customer questions about menu items, orders, and pickup procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked takeout service area
• Restock bags, containers, utensils, condiments, receipts, and other supplies
• Assist with delivery order coordination and driver pickups as needed
• Follow food safety, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures
• Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties
