Job Summary

Home Slice Pizza is seeking a dependable and energetic PizzaRunner to help ensure that freshly prepared pizzas and other food orders reach guests promptly and accurately. The ideal candidate will be organized, attentive to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

The PizzaRunner will coordinate with kitchen staff and servers, deliver completed orders to the correct tables or designated pickup areas, and help maintain an efficient dining experience. This role requires teamwork, good communication, and a commitment to food quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and completed food orders to the correct tables or pickup areas.
• Confirm order details and check that items are complete before delivery.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to keep orders moving efficiently.
• Handle food carefully and follow restaurant food-safety procedures.
• Assist with organizing takeout orders during busy service periods.
• Keep serving stations, pickup areas, and assigned workspaces clean.
• Refill supplies and assist with basic restaurant tasks when needed.
• Communicate order delays, missing items, or special requests to the appropriate team member.
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
• Follow restaurant procedures for cleanliness, teamwork, and workplace safety.

Requirements

• Previous restaurant, food-running, or hospitality experience is helpful but may not be required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to check orders accurately.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy meal periods.
• Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays or orders as required.
• Willingness to follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
• Availability for some evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on business needs.
