Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

As an L2 PKI Specialist you will be responsible for the operational management maintenance and enhancement of the organizations PKI infrastructure You will ensure secure certificate lifecycle management troubleshoot PKI related issues and support integration of cryptographic services across enterprise systems

Primary Skill MS PKI 4 years

• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and design PKI architectures tailored to their specific needs
• Design scalable and secure PKI architectures that align with client objectives and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with client teams to integrate PKI solutions into their existing systems and applications
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration of PKI solutions with various applications and systems
• Administer and maintain Certificate Authorities CAs Registration Authorities RAs and related components
• Manage certificate lifecycle issuance renewal revocation and distribution
• Monitor and maintain CRLs and OCSP responders
• Enforce PKI policies Certificate Practice Statements CPS and Certificate Policies CP
• Ensure compliance with standards such as NIST 80057 CABF GDPR ISO 27001
• Secure CA private keys and enforce key management controls
• Resolve issues related to certificate trust chains revocation status and encryption failures
• Provide L2 support for PKI related incidents and escalate complex issues to L3
• Integrate PKI services into CICD pipelines container platforms eg Kubernetes and MDM IoT environments
• Maintain detailed documentation of PKI configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides
• Collaborate with infrastructure network and application teams to ensure seamless PKI integration

Advantage Secondary Skill

MS DLP 12 yr experience

• Monitor and investigate DLP s triage potential data loss incidents and follow the established incident response process
• Generate detailed reports and dashboards on DLP incidents policy effectiveness and volumes for management review Analyze trends and recommend remediation to reduce risk and noise
• Tune and refine DLP policies to reduce false positives and ensure they meet the organizations control objectives without disrupting valid business workflows
• Work with legal compliance business data owners and IT teams to align DLP policies with business needs and regulatory requirements eg GDPR HIPAA

Required Skills Qualifications

4-9 years of experience in PKI administration or cryptographic services

Strong understanding of

• Certificate lifecycle management
• TLSSSL X509 SMIME protocols
• RSA ECC and other cryptographic algorithms

Experience with tools like Microsoft AD CS EJBCA Venafi and HSMs

Familiarity with scripting PowerShell Python for automation

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and security standards

Preferred Certifications

• Certified PKI Professional eg KeyFactor Thales
• Microsoft Certified Identity and Access Administrator
