CNC Operator — $25-$40/hr | Fastener Manufacturing

Location: 35th Avenue & Grand Avenue | Shifts: 1 person for 1st (6:00 AM–2:30 PM) and two for 2nd (2:15 PM–10:45 PM)

Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. is seeking several CNC Operator's to join our manufacturing team. You'll be responsible for setup and operation of CNC machines and auxiliary equipment to produce high-quality fasteners, while meeting on-time delivery, productivity, safety, quality, and housekeeping metrics.

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate CNC machines and auxiliary equipment to produce fasteners to spec
• Perform daily maintenance and adjustments on CNC machines and auxiliary equipment
• Synchronize CNC machine actions across operations for customized jobs
• Configure equipment, calibrate gauge settings, and load materials
• Perform routine safety checks (guarding and safety equipment)
• Follow proper Lock Out Tag Out procedures
• Prepare and maintain accurate production records
• Keep equipment and work area clean and organized
• Participate as a trainer when needed
• Work in other areas as needed

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous CNC machine operation experience preferred — not required; we'll train the right candidate
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to follow visual, written, and oral instructions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to take initiative and work where needed

Safety

• Perform all activities safely, using applicable safety equipment
• Regularly check equipment for proper safety mechanisms
• Report hazards to supervisors immediately

Physical Requirements

• Lift/move items up to or over 50 lbs
• Stand for most of an 8-hour (or longer) shift in a noisy environment
