Placing Boom Operator

• Operate the placing boom for concrete pouring activities at construction sites.
• Position and control the boom to ensure accurate and uniform concrete placement as instructed by the site supervisor.
• Coordinate with the concrete pump operator, site supervisor, concrete pouring team, and other site personnel.
• Monitor concrete flow and ensure smooth distribution without unnecessary interruption.
• Ensure the boom is operated within its permitted working range and load limits.
• Follow the approved pouring sequence and site instructions.
• Conduct pre-operation and post-operation inspections of the placing boom.
• Check hydraulic systems, hoses, pipelines, joints, clamps, and other critical components for leaks, damage, or wear.
• Ensure the boom, remote control, safety devices, and emergency stop systems are functioning properly.
• Clean concrete residues from the equipment and delivery lines after use, following approved procedures.
• Report mechanical faults, abnormal noise, hydraulic leaks, or equipment damage immediately.
• Maintain the equipment in good working condition and report maintenance requirements to the concerned department.
• Comply with company HSE policies, site safety rules, and approved operating procedures.
• Check the stability of the equipment and ensure the work area is safe before commencing operations.
• Maintain safe clearance from overhead power lines, structures, workers, and other obstructions.
• Ensure no unauthorized person enters the boom's operating or exclusion zone.
• Stop operations immediately if unsafe conditions, equipment defects, or unexpected movements are identified.
• Follow approved procedures for boom setup, dismantling, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Inform the supervisor about delays, equipment breakdowns, site access issues, and other operational difficulties.

Pay: AED1,350.00 - AED1,500.00 per month
