What they need
- Analyse customer demand data and production schedules to forecast future demand for materials and products.
- Responsible for managing inventory levels, tracking stock levels, and making sure that materials are available when needed.
- Control parts issuing to production according to assembly schedule and always maintain BOM data accuracy.
- Update weekly store inventory and production WIP.
- Create and manage PQ based on BOM list to ensure that the necessary materials are ordered in a timely manner to support production schedules.
- Prepare master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of incoming parts arrival and production schedule to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.
- Work closely with various departments such as production, logistics, and procurement to ensure that materials are available when needed and to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Coordinate with purchasing, engineering, logistic, production, quality management for updated BOM list.
- Monitor inventory levels and associated costs to ensure that inventory is being used efficiently and effectively.
- Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, purchase orders, and other relevant data, and prepare reports for management and other stakeholders as needed.
