Senior Planner – Maintenance & Modification (M&M)

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner to support major Maintenance & Modification (M&M) activities within the energy sector. The role will be responsible for establishing, maintaining, and actively following up project schedules throughout both the early phase and execution phase.

You will work closely with project teams, contractors, senior management, and other key stakeholders to ensure that project progress remains aligned with agreed targets, milestones, and business case strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish project schedules in accordance with business case strategies for both early phase and execution.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to ensure progress is achieved in line with project targets.
• Actively follow up project plans, milestones, critical paths, and specific project schedules.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance, and continuous updating of the project planning basis.
• Ensure consistency and alignment between contractors' schedules and the overall project plan.
• Proactively monitor and follow up project progress and schedule development.
• Maintain effective communication and interfaces between stakeholders, senior management, and contractors.
• Perform planning and trend analysis, including assessment of float and critical path development.
• Identify potential schedule risks and contribute to mitigation measures.
• Develop proactive proposals for schedule recovery and maintenance of key project milestones.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant planning experience, preferably within the energy, oil & gas, or M&M sector.
• Experience with Safran is preferred/required.
• Strong proficiency in Excel.
• Experience with Maintenance & Modification (M&M) projects is highly desirable.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Science, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong cooperation and communication skills.
• Positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of planning activities.

Preferred Background:

Experience from M&M projects and/or drilling-related campaigns will be considered an advantage, particularly experience relevant to drill break activities.
