Planner

As a Planner , you will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating the overall construction schedule for utility-scale solar projects.

You will work directly under the Construction Manager , supporting all planning activities related to civil, mechanical, electrical, and commissioning works, ensuring project milestones are achieved on time and resources are efficiently allocated.

This is a key site-based role with strong involvement in scheduling, reporting, subcontractor coordination, and project controls.

CHINT is expanding its renewable energy projects in Romania and is looking for an experienced Planner to join the site execution team for the utility-scale photovoltaic park in Arad - Graniceri.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master construction schedule
• Prepare short-term and long-term project plans (daily / weekly / monthly)
• Monitor critical path activities and identify schedule risks
• Track project milestones and support recovery plans when delays occur
• Coordinate construction activities across Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Commissioning teams
• Monitor subcontractor progress and planned vs actual performance
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and project dashboards
• Support resource planning, manpower forecasting, and material availability
• Assist Construction Manager with project controls, reporting, and final handover activities

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in construction planning for industrial, infrastructure, or energy projects
• Strong understanding of EPC project execution and construction sequencing
• Experience in utility-scale solar projects is a strong advantage
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel

Nice to Have

• Primavera P6 or MS Project experience
• Renewable energy project experience
• Progress measurement and project controls experience
• Commissioning and grid connection planning knowledge
• Master’s Degree in Engineering or Project Management
