PLANNER

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Planner to oversee production scheduling and material planning in a fast-paced medical device manufacturing environment. The role is critical in ensuring timely order fulfillment, optimal production flow, and compliance with industry quality standards.

ob Responsibilities

• Manage Customer Orders: Receive and review incoming orders, confirm delivery commitments, and align production plans with customer expectations.
• Plan & Release Production Orders: Prepare, review, and issue timely production schedules based on demand, capacity, and resource availability.
• Coordinate Materials Supply: Liaise with purchasing to ensure raw materials, components, and packaging are available for smooth production flow.
• Monitor Production Performance: Track daily outputs, identify potential delays, and take immediate corrective actions to meet delivery targets.
• Develop Recovery Plans: Implement effective recovery strategies in case of output shortfalls and communicate updates to customers.
• Oversee Logistics & Delivery: Provide shipment instructions to logistics teams and ensure on-time delivery with accurate documentation.
• Ensure Compliance & Continuous Improvement: Adhere to legal, customer, and QEHS requirements while analyzing production data to improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of production planning experience, preferably in the plastic injection or medical device industry.
• Proficient in MRP/ERP systems with strong production scheduling knowledge.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Familiarity with QEHS standards in a regulated manufacturing environment is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) will be an added advantage due to business requirements.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
