Project Planner

Trevi Foundations Philippines is seeking an experienced Project Planner to join our team supporting the delivery of major geotechnical and construction works on the Lihir Project in Papua New Guinea.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules using Primavera P6, providing accurate progress reporting, forecast analysis, and planning support to the project management team. The candidate will also spend a couple of months in the Philippines and later will be mobilized to Lihir Island in Papua New Guinea.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with project stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline programs, resource-loaded schedules, and cost-loaded schedules as required.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules based on site productivity and project performance.
• Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks and opportunities.
• Generate weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule performance metrics.
• Coordinate planning activities with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers, Procurement, and Construction teams.
• Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the overall project program.
• Support change management processes, including the assessment of delay events and schedule impacts.
• Assist in the development of recovery plans and mitigation strategies where required.
• Participate in planning and coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and reporting requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline. A licensed professional is given a priority.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Project Planning role within construction, mining, civil, infrastructure, or geotechnical projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling principles, and earned value concepts.
• Experience working on large-scale construction or mining projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other project reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
