Own the Schedule. Deliver for the Customer.

Are you energized by solving complex planning challenges and keeping operations running smoothly? Do you enjoy balancing customer expectations, production capacity, inventory, and supply chain constraints to ensure products are delivered on time?
At DeZURIK, we're looking for a Planner to play a critical role in connecting customer demand with manufacturing execution. In this highly collaborative position, you'll work closely with Customer Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations to manage production schedules, optimize inventory, and drive on-time delivery performance. If you're analytical, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

As our Planner, you will:

  • Manage and schedule customer orders for assigned valve product lines, ensuring realistic and achievable delivery commitments.
  • Analyze bills of material (BOMs), material availability, routing, and capacity constraints to establish and maintain accurate production schedules.
  • Monitor production progress and proactively resolve shortages, inventory discrepancies, and scheduling challenges that could impact customer deliveries.
  • Partner with Purchasing and Manufacturing teams to optimize lot sizes, lead times, inventory levels, and material availability.
  • Maintain MRP system integrity through ongoing analysis of forecasts, demand trends, safety stock levels, and lead time performance.
  • Release and expedite production orders while ensuring priorities remain aligned with customer commitments and business objectives.
  • Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory optimization, cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a key problem-solver across the organization, helping navigate changing priorities while maintaining exceptional customer service.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Materials Management, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of planning or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment using MRP systems.
  • APICS certification or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of job shop manufacturing environments.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong understanding of MRP systems, inventory management, and production planning principles.
  • Ability to analyze Bills of Material, manufacturing processes, and engineering drawings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other business systems.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with the flexibility to continuously re-prioritize based on business needs.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Why Join DeZURIK?
