Work Site: 40 Muir Road, Martinez

Work Schedule: MONDAY to FRIDAY 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Job Duties Child Welfare Assistance Reception: Perform many varied tasks including but not limited to clearing and registering General Assistance applicants using CalWIN, provides information and referral to the public, both walk-ins and by phone, State Fingerprint Imaging System operator and Live Scan operator. Also scanner duties and group orientation proctor, maintains traffic log and updates case information, may assist with compiling information on applicants for program analyst and scan BSIs, and other duties as assigned. The person selected for this position will be fingerprinted for clearance by DOJ.

Minimum Qualifications The ability to type at a speed of not less than 40 words per minute from clear manuscript or printed or typewritten copy. Experience: Three years of full-time or its equivalent responsible clerical experience, at least six months of which must have been at the Experience clerical level in Contra Costa County.
