Planner (Production/ Material )

Key Responsibilities

1.Planner (Production Control)

Focus: Turning demand into reality through efficient scheduling.

·       Develop and manage master production schedules (MPS) based on customer demand, forecast, and capacity.

·       Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.

·       Monitor daily/weekly production performance, identify gaps, and drive recovery plans.

·       Manage WIP levels to support output, cycle time, and efficiency targets.

·       Manage changes in customer requirements and support order review processes

·       Monitor production progress and ensure targets are achieved

·       Prepare and submit production reports

2. Planner (Distribution Center)

Focus: Ensuring our products reach customers on time, every time.

·       Manage finished goods storage, order fulfilment, and shipment execution.

·       Ensure on-time, accurate delivery to customers and distribution hubs.

·       Coordinate with Logistics, Forwarders, and Customers on shipping plans and requirements.

·       Monitor DC KPIs including OTD, shipment accuracy, and logistics cost.

·       Handle delivery issues and ensure on-time shipment.

·       Prepare and submit shipment reports.

3. Planner (Material Control)

Focus: Optimizing the flow of materials to keep lines running.

·       Ensure timely material planning, allocation, and issuance to support production schedules.

·       Work closely with Purchasing and Suppliers to manage material availability, shortages, and expedites.

·       Drive material readiness reviews and risk mitigation for demand changes or supply constraints.

·       Optimize material usage and minimize excess and obsolete (E&O) inventory.

·       Prepare and analyse reports on inventory status and material usage.

·       Analyse sales forecasts and historical data to predict future material requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 - 5 year of experience in material or production planning or similar roles.
• Prefer Mandarin speaking candidates (SPEAK, READ and WRITE in MANDARIN) to liaise with Mandarin speaking colleague & clients).
• Strong analytical and coordination skills with the ability to forecast and plan effectively.
• Good understanding of production planning and inventory control
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills with cross-functional teams
