Planning & Billing Engineer

Role & responsibilities:We are hiring for Gujarat Hazira location

,looking for an experienced Planning & Billing Engineer with strong experience in project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and billing for tank fabrication, piping, or pipeline projects.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring planned vs. actual progress, preparing project reports, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, and managing project billing documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project baseline schedules using MS Project.
• Develop detailed construction schedules covering activities from engineering to commissioning.
• Monitor and update planned vs. actual project progress.
• Prepare and maintain DPR, WPR and MPR.
• Prepare and compile client invoices and supporting documents for billing certification.
• Coordinate with project execution teams to collect actual progress data.
• Prepare short-term and long-term resource allocation plans.
• Track manpower, material, equipment and other project resources.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors and internal teams regarding project progress and billing.
• Prepare project progress reports and schedule forecasts.
• Understand and interpret tank/piping drawings and P&IDs.
• Follow up on pending activities and highlight project delays.
• Support client review meetings and provide project planning updates.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Project Planning & Billing.
• Hands-on experience with MS Project.
• Experience in Tank Fabrication, Piping or Pipeline Projects.
• Knowledge of project scheduling and progress monitoring.
• Good understanding of project billing and invoicing.
• Ability to track planned vs. actual progress.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively at a project/site location.
