We're looking for an organized, energetic person to work with our purchasing and production planning team. You'll help schedule purchases for manufacturing, coordinate with suppliers, monitor inventory, and use Excel and our ERP system to ensure materials are available when production needs them.

Overall Responsibility:

This position would work closely with our Supply Chain lead and Operations Director to assure timely availability of materials and components, as well as good control of inventory levels.

Job duties would include:

· Work to maintain proper inventory through maintaining the perpetual inventory, preparing re-order report analysis, and recommending appropriate action.

· Update part-family inventory and in-process information

· Create work orders for floor production.

· Help determine raw material needs for production.

· Work in our inventory management system to plan and execute manufacturing orders.

· Monitor, recommend and execute Purchase orders for Component Parts, especially long-lead items, especially engineered components

· Purchase other items through our PO process.

· Contribute to weekly production meeting.

· Work with key vendors to assure prompt and efficient supply.

· Maintain safe work environment, operate on internet in a safe fashion.

· Assist supply chain and management teams as requested.

• Purchasing, manufacturing, inventory, or planning experience is helpful but not required
• Associate's degree in business, operations, manufacturing, or a related field—or equivalent experience

Job Type: Full-time

Hourly pay: $21-24

• 8-hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

• Hartford, WI 53027: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

• Procurement or manufacturing planning: 1 year (Preferred)
