Planning Engineer and Analysis

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Planning

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
• Analyze sales forecasts and align production plans with customer demand.
• Plan machine capacity utilization (Injection, Blow Molding, PET Stretch Blow).
• Plan usage of raw materials, plastic resins, colorants, and packaging.
• Monitor and control production plans to meet targets.

2. Data Analysis

• Collect and analyze production data.
• Prepare productivity reports for each production line.
• Analyze machine efficiency.
• Conduct OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) analysis.
• Analyze scrap rate/reject rate.
• Prepare KPI reports for management.

3. Raw Material and Inventory Management

• Analyze raw material inventory levels.
• Plan resin usage appropriately.
• Control stock levels (Min-Max).
• Coordinate with the purchasing team for raw material procurement.
• Monitor raw material usage in line with production plans.

4. Process Improvement

• Analyze production problems and bottlenecks.
• Propose cost reduction initiatives.
• Improve machine and manpower efficiency.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement projects.
• Develop and improve work standards and workflows.

5. Monitoring and Reporting

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Summarize performance against production plans.
• Present analytical insights to management.
• Develop dashboards and KPI monitoring systems.

6. Coordination

• Coordinate with production team.
• Coordinate with maintenance team.
• Coordinate with warehouse team.
• Coordinate with sales and purchasing teams.
• Provide analytical support for management decision-making.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in:

  • Industrial Engineering
  • Production Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Logistics Engineering
  • Statistics
  • Data Analytics
  • Or other related fields

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Production Planning or Manufacturing Analysis.
• Experience in Plastic Industry (PET, HDPE, PP, Packaging) is an advantage.
• Proven experience in production data analysis and process improvement.
• Good command of English
