Planning Engineer

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed baseline programs using Primavera P6 / MS Project
• Define project scope, sequencing, milestones, and timelines for fit-out works
• Prepare Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and project schedules

Progress Monitoring & Control

• Track and update project progress on a weekly/monthly basis
• Monitor critical path activities and highlight deviations
• Identify potential delays and recommend corrective actions

Resource Planning

• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, and equipment requirements
• Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure timely availability

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensure alignment between project schedule, procurement, and site execution

Delay Analysis & Recovery Planning

• Analyze project delays and their impact on timelines
• Develop and implement recovery programs to mitigate delays

EOT (Extension of Time) & Claims Management

• Prepare and submit EOT claims with proper documentation and justification
• Maintain records of delays, variations, and project changes
• Perform delay analysis (e.g., impact analysis) to support claims
• Coordinate with commercial/contracts team for claim submissions and approvals

Reporting & Documentation

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
• Maintain updated schedules, logs, and planning documentation
• Present progress updates and forecasts to management

Tender & Pre-Contract Support

• Prepare tender schedules and preliminary project timelines
• Provide planning input for estimation and project costing

Risk Management

• Identify scheduling risks and propose mitigation strategies
• Monitor and manage potential conflicts affecting timelines

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in planning for fit-out / interior projects
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
• Strong understanding of fit-out sequencing, MEP coordination, and site execution
• Experience in EOT preparation and delay analysis is mandatory
• Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
