Planning Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to develop, monitor, and control project schedules for engineering and manufacturing projects. The candidate will be responsible for planning project activities, tracking progress, coordinating with cross-functional departments, and ensuring
timely execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules and work plans using planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress against the baseline schedule and identify delays or deviations.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Project teams to ensure smooth execution of activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports.
• Track engineering, procurement, manufacturing, inspection, and dispatch activities.
• Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions to recover schedule delays.
• Conduct project review meetings and update stakeholders on project status.
• Maintain project documentation, schedules, and planning records.
• Prepare resource planning and manpower deployment schedules.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding project timelines and milestones.
• Support project execution by ensuring adherence to contractual delivery schedules.
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards for management review.
• Strong knowledge on SAP Software.
