Planning Engineer (High-Rise Building Construction)

Job Summary

Vision Catalyst Construction LLC is looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with 3-5 years of UAE experience in high-rise building construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, delay analysis, and coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Develop baseline programmes, recovery schedules, and look-ahead plans.
• Monitor project progress against the approved schedule and identify potential delays.
• Perform critical path analysis and recommend corrective actions to mitigate schedule risks.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and clients regarding project planning and progress.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and presentation reports.
• Analyze productivity, resource utilization, and project performance.
• Assist in Extension of Time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and planning documentation.
• Ensure project milestones and contractual deadlines are achieved.
• Support project cost control by monitoring planned versus actual progress.
• Attend project coordination meetings and provide planning updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 3-5 years of UAE experience as a Planning Engineer in high-rise building construction.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Sound knowledge of construction planning, scheduling, critical path analysis, and project controls.
• Experience in preparing baseline schedules, recovery programmes, and progress reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
