Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Develop detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)

· Prepare baseline schedules and track progress against milestones

· Perform schedule risk analysis and identify critical path activities

· Coordinate with site teams to collect progress data and update schedules regularly

· Prepare progress reports, S-curves, and dashboards for management review

· Identify potential delays and propose recovery plans

· Support cost engineers in resource and manpower loading/leveling

· Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with the master schedule

· Participate in project meetings, providing planning and progress updates

· Maintain records of schedule changes, variations, and claims support documentation

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field)

· 3–7 years of experience in planning/scheduling on construction or infrastructure projects

· Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project

· Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and project lifecycle

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

· PMP or similar project management certification

· Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)

· Familiarity with BIM 4D scheduling tools

· Attention to detail under tight deadlines

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
