PLANNING ENGINEER

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer to join our construction team in Qatar, specializing in high-rise buildings and tower projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Monitor project progress against approved baseline schedules.
• Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Analyze project delays and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare progress updates, manpower plans, and resource forecasts.
• Support preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved within the approved timeline.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of planning experience in construction projects, preferably high-rise buildings or towers.
• Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Experience in project scheduling, progress monitoring, and delay analysis.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies and project controls.
• Previous experience in Qatar is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
