PLANNING ENGINEER

A. Responsibilities:

1. Ensuring alignment with ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), ISO 9001 (Quality Management) standards, and legal and other requirements.
2. Integrate ISO 45001:2018 health and safety requirements into the project plan to ensure a safe working environment
3. Ensure that project plans and schedules align with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and that all tasks meet the required quality criteria.
4. Preparation of Project Schedule (Tools used: Primavera, MS Project, etc.,) covering the entire scope and within defined timelines.

6. Calculating Optimal Material requirement, Manpower Requirement (of various trades) & Machinery Requirement.
7. Prepare progress report every week.
8. Tracking and updating progress work at the site.
9. Prepare catch up plan to recover delayed activities.
10. Monitoring and reviewing the baseline and updated project schedules and costs.
11. Financial/Physical S curve and manpower histogram development.
12. Ensuring the project is on track and within budget.
13. Analyzing the schedule variance, risk, and opportunity. This includes finding Free Float, Total Float, Early Start, Late Start, Early Completion, Late Completion, Critical Path/Milestone, Activities Sequencing, Activities Duration, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and Resource Histogram.
14. Ensure all project activities are planned and executed in compliance with Malaysian construction laws, labor laws, environmental regulations, and other relevant laws.

B. Requirements:

1. Degree Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management
2. Required skill(s): MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD, Primavera P6.
3. At least 5 years of working experience in the related field. High-rise building experience will be a great advantage.

C. Authority

1. Authority to plan and schedules under the guidance of the Managing Director and Project Director, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001:2018 (safety) and ISO 9001:2015 (quality) standards.
2. Authority to reject any plans or schedules that do not meet safety or quality standards, in alignment with the directives of the Managing Director and Project Director.
3. Authority to ensure project planning complies with safety and quality management systems (ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 9001:2015), under the direction of Project Director and Managing Director
