Planning Engineer

Join our Manufacturing Control Team and play a key role in driving production efficiency, ensuring on-time delivery, and optimizing manufacturing operations.

As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating production plans, balancing customer demand with production capacity, managing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain production schedules based on customer demand, inventory targets, and production capacity.
• Review customer orders and shipment requirements to ensure timely product delivery.
• Monitor production performance against planned schedules and analyze gaps between plan and actual results.
• Adjust production plans and develop contingency plans when demand, capacity, or operational conditions change.
• Coordinate with Sales (Internal and Oversea), Production, Warehouse, Purchasing, and related departments to ensure smooth production flow and on-time delivery.
• Analyze production capacity, material availability, and inventory levels to optimize planning efficiency.
• Plan and control packaging material requirements in line with production schedules.
• Prepare planning reports, productivity analyses, and management presentations using Excel and related tools.
• Support continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve planning accuracy.
• Collaborate with production teams to develop optimal production plans and improve overall operational performance.
• Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, 5S, and Kaizen activities.

Who we're looking for

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, Logistics, or related fields.
• At least 4 years of experience in Production Planning, Production Control, Supply Chain, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and planning skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively and independently drive process automation and operational improvements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Table, and data analysis functions.
• Good communication, teamwork, English language skills, and willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.
