Planning Engineer

We have Opening for Planning Engineer:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to oversee the scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking of heavy steel bridge fabrication projects. You will manage the project lifecycle from raw material procurement to workshop fabrication (cutting, welding, blasting) and final site erection. Your core mission is to ensure that major structures—such as Open Web Girders (OWG), Bowstring Girders, Composite Girder and Foot Over Bridges (FOB)—are delivered on time, within budget and up to stringent benchmarks

Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of proven project planning experience within a heavy steel fabrication, bridge manufacturing company

Software Proficiency: Expert-level command over AutoCAD, primavera -P6, Tekla , MS Project and advanced MS Excel (macros, dynamic tracking dashboards).

Drawing Interpretation: Ability to confidently read structural blueprints, design layouts, and detail shop drawings.

-Review drawings, revisions or client communication to document

-Facilitate coordination meetings between design consultants, client the workshop team.

-Familiarity with steel bridge fabrication guidelines (e.g., IRS B1 fabrications specifications, bridge welding codes, or relevant code/ standards

Progress Tracking: Update schedules weekly using data to track actual progress against the planned baseline including coordination with purchase, shop floor

Material Reconciliation: Forecast raw steel, welding consumables and paint requirements to map procurement schedules alongside fabrication stages

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
