Planning Engineer

Job Title: Planning Engineer
Department: Project Planning & Control
Reports To: Project Manager / Planning Manager

Job Summary

The Planning Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules, tracking progress, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring that projects are completed within the planned time frame and budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare project schedules, baseline programmes, and work plans.
• Develop project timelines using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly project progress.
• Prepare progress reports, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and manpower plans.
• Coordinate with construction, procurement, engineering, and subcontractor teams.
• Identify project delays, critical activities, and potential risks.
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare recovery programmes and revised schedules when required.
• Track material requirements and resource utilization against the project schedule.
• Attend project review meetings and communicate schedule updates to management.
• Maintain project documentation and planning records.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 per month
