Planning Engineer

• Independently develop, update and monitor Baseline, Revised and Recovery Programmes using Primavera P6.
• Perform Resource Loading and Cost Loading of project programmes.
• Develop and maintain WBS, CPM logic, Critical Path, float analysis and progress measurement.
• Prepare recovery and mitigation programmes where required.
• Integrate Engineering, Procurement, Construction, MEP, Testing & Commissioning and Handover activities into the project programme.
• Prepare look-ahead programmes, S-curves, manpower histograms, dashboards and weekly/monthly progress reports.
• Monitor project delays and support EOT, delay analysis and time-impact assessments.
• Coordinate independently with Project, Construction, MEP, Procurement and Commercial teams.
• Review and integrate subcontractor programmes into the master schedule.
• Monitor authority approvals, NOCs, inspections, utility connections and completion/handover requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of relevant Planning Engineering experience.
• Advanced hands-on proficiency in Primavera P6 – Mandatory.
• Hands-on experience in Resource Loading and Cost Loading – Mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of WBS, CPM, Critical Path, Float Analysis, Progress Measurement and Recovery Planning.
• Experience preparing Baseline, Revised and Recovery Programmes independently.
• Experience with S-curves, manpower histograms, look-ahead schedules and progress reporting.
• Knowledge of delay analysis, EOT and Time Impact Analysis will be an advantage.
• UAE construction / contracting experience is preferred.
• Experience with RAK authorities, Dubai authorities, Trakhees and Nakheel requirements will be an added advantage.
• Candidate must be capable of independently handling complete project planning and scheduling activities with minimal supervision.
