Planning Engineer

We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Planning Engineer with practical experience in construction project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring. The candidate must have hands-on knowledge of Primavera P6 and the ability to develop, monitor, and update construction schedules for effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules, work plans, and construction timelines using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, activity sequences, WBS, and project milestones.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, procurement, and subcontractors to plan construction activities.
• Monitor actual progress against planned schedules and identify delays and critical activities.
• Update Primavera P6 schedules based on site progress and prepare look-ahead plans, including weekly and monthly schedules.
• Conduct schedule variance analysis and identify critical path activities and potential project bottlenecks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and S-curves.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor requirements in line with the project schedule.
• Identify schedule risks and recommend recovery plans to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain project documentation and support management in progress reviews and planning meetings.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify actual progress and ensure that reported progress reflects site conditions.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years of relevant construction planning experience.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Primavera P6.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing, resource planning, critical path analysis, and schedule updating.
• Ability to prepare progress reports, S-curves, and project recovery schedules.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Project; AutoCAD knowledge will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
• Practical understanding of construction site activities and execution methodologies.
• Willingness to work at SITE (Reko Diq, Balochistan).

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month
