Planning Engineer (Data Center Project)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Monitor project progress and analyze schedule performance against established baselines.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, look-ahead schedules, and management presentations.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and clients to collect progress data and schedule updates.
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and potential impacts to project milestones, while recommending mitigation strategies.
• Support project controls activities including schedule review, progress measurement, and change management.
• Conduct critical path analysis and evaluate recovery plans when required.
• Participate in project meetings and provide planning insights to support project decision-making.
• Ensure project planning activities comply with PMC standards, contractual requirements, and client expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls.
• Previous experience in Data Center, mission-critical facilities, industrial, commercial, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling methodologies, construction sequences, and progress monitoring.
• Familiarity with project reporting, earned value concepts, and schedule performance analysis is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
