PLANNING ENGINEER (Ref:4Mzoe)

An interesting opportunity to join our client's team at a leading Romanian construction company . We are looking for a Planning Engineer to join this organization.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling project execution deadlines, ensuring progress tracking, identifying delays, and providing support for decisions regarding the work schedule.
• Develops the project execution schedule (baseline).
• Periodically updates the schedule based on progress on site.
• Monitors deviations from deadlines and analyzes the impact on the critical path.
• Prepares progress reports, completion forecasts, and S-curves.
• Collaborates with Project Managers/Site Managers to optimize the sequence of work.
• Supports the project team in analyzing delays and extensions of time (EOT).
• Integrates approved changes into the schedule.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in construction project planning (minimum 3–5 years)
• Solid knowledge of execution technologies and the logic of work planning
• Experience using planning software such as MS Project and Primavera P6 (mandatory)
• Knowledge of the critical path method (CPM)
• Understanding of processes and standards in the construction and engineering fields
• Knowledge of resource allocation and cost management
• Ability to analyze project data and prepare detailed reports
• Knowledge of progress reporting and delay analysis (considered an advantage)
• Understanding of the project life cycle and associated deliverables
• Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information

Certifications

• Primavera P6 Certification
• PMP Certification
