Planning Engineer-Residential Projects

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Planning Engineer with over 10 years of experience in residential construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, resource allocation, and coordination with project teams to ensure timely completion of projects within the approved budget and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project schedules, work programmes, and construction timelines for residential projects.
• Develop baseline schedules and monitor actual progress against planned targets.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, and other departments to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project milestones, identify delays, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and management updates.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and other resources in coordination with site teams.
• Track project performance and analyse schedule deviations.
• Conduct regular site progress reviews and coordinate with project teams to resolve planning-related issues.
• Assist in preparing project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and resource plans.
• Maintain project documentation, planning records, and updated construction schedules.
• Ensure effective coordination between planning, execution, procurement, and design teams.

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling residential construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning, project monitoring, and scheduling techniques.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and project reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, organisational, communication, and coordination skills.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
