Job opportunity: AI and Project Controls Analyst (Abu Dhabi)

Trojan Property Investment (TPI), the group's development and project management arm, is hiring an AI and Project Controls Analyst to join its Abu Dhabi team.

About the role

TPI is building an in-house AI capability for construction delivery: AI-assisted planning and baseline scheduling, an AI-native project management platform, and document and engineering data intelligence. The analyst will sit at the core of this program, applying machine learning and large language models to real project data and helping move AI tools from concept to production use on live projects.

Key responsibilities

- Support the design, development, testing, and validation of AI tools for construction planning and scheduling, grounded in Primavera P6, CPM, and EVM

- Build Python automation and data pipelines that prepare schedule, cost, and progress data for AI and analytics workloads

- Apply LLM and ML techniques to document control and engineering data intelligence across project workflows

- Benchmark AI outputs against real project baselines and planning standards

- Develop dashboards and analytics that turn project data into decision-ready information for management

Candidate requirements

This role requires a combined profile: applied AI capability together with a genuine understanding of construction. Candidates strong in only one of the two will not be a fit.

- Degree in AI, computer science, data science, or civil or construction engineering

- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience; strong fresh graduates are also welcome to apply

- Hands-on AI skills: Python, data engineering, ML fundamentals, or applied LLM work

- Construction understanding: planning, scheduling, quantities, or site workflows, gained through study, internships, or work experience

- Exposure to modern AI tooling such as LLM APIs, retrieval pipelines, or agent frameworks is an advantage

- Graduates of UAE universities are preferred: MBZUAI, Khalifa University, UAEU, AUS, Abu Dhabi University, or similar

- Proficiency in Arabic and English is an advantage
