Planning Senior Engineer/ Manager - Transmission (HVAC Projects)

Position Summary

The Manager/Senior Engineer (Planning)-Transmission, will be responsible for execution monitoring, and coordination of High Voltage AC (HVAC) Transmission Line projects across Karnataka. The role requires strong technical expertise in EHV transmission systems and site execution capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Planned Activities monitoring, considering the project timeline and scheduling the supervision of EHV transmission line works (132kV / 220kV / 400kV & above)
• Monitoring tower foundation, erection, stringing, and commissioning activities
• Ensure adherence to approved drawings, technical specifications, and safety standards
• Communication with clients, contractors, and internal cross-functional teams
• Timely reporting the site progress and prepare MIS/DPR reports
• Ensure inputs from store, quality and safety with statutory norms
• Inputs to site management for optimization of resources

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma or B.E./B. Tech in Electrical Engineering (Transmission specialization preferred)
• 710 years of relevant experience in EHV/HVAC transmission projects
• Experience in TBCB/BOOT projects will be an added advantage

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of IS/IEC transmission standards.
• Knowledge of various electrical circuit, layout, SLD of EHV Sub-Station.
• Familiarity with route survey, profiling and transmission line design basics.
• Understanding of safety regulations in high voltage environments.
• Proficiency in project documentation and reporting.
