Planning Executive

GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

1.      To assist in managing, administrating and supervising a group of subordinates.

2.      Responsible of ensuring every subordinates abide by the company policies, rules and regulations, etc.

3.      Responsible of executing and implementing company activities related to such as Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Safety & Health Management System, company policies, rules and regulations, etc.

4.      Responsible of analyzing, organizing, coordinating and delegating jobs to the respective subordinates.

5.      Responsible of executing and implementing instructions given by the immediate superior.

6.      To assist in managing and administrating subordinates career development.

7.      To assist in planning, organizing, coordinating and delegating jobs to the respective subordinates.

8.      Responsible of dealing with confidential matters, business affairs and trade secrets of the company.

SPECIFIC JOB FUNCTIONS :

A Planning Executive is responsible for planning, scheduling, and controlling production processes to ensure timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1)      Production Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement production plans, set timelines, and ensure on-time delivery of products while coordinating with manufacturing and logistics teams.

2)      Delivery & Shipment: To carry out daily shipment follow-up activity. Shipment Pre-Alert distribution. Prepare Sales Order Review. Distribution, Signing, key-in Daily Sales via invoices and capture/monitor consignment sales and inventory movement.

3)      Material and Inventory Management: Support material planning, procurement, and inventory control to ensure availability of resources for uninterrupted production.

4)      Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, quality, and production teams to align plans and resolve operational issues

5)      Production Control: Monitor shop floor activities, oversee quality control, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Create reports, dashboards and visualizations for business users.

6)      Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze production data, track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and provide insights to support decision-making. Build and maintain data pipelines that power business reporting and analytics.

7)      Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies, implement process enhancements, and adopt innovative solutions to optimize production workflow. Document data models, workflow, and best practices for scalable analytics.

8)      Communication: Provide updates on production status and delivery timelines to internal and external stakeholders

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

1.      Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field. (Since this position involves driving the digitalization of existing processes and workflows).

2.      Typically 3–5 years in production planning, manufacturing, or a similar role; experience with ERP systems is highly valued.

3.      Technical Skills: Proficiency in production planning software, data analysis tools, and knowledge of manufacturing processes.

4.      Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, analytical thinking, flexibility, and good teamwork. Proactive, self-started, highly motivated, dynamic individual, and a team player.

5.      A results-oriented person with excellent drive, initiative, and the ability to work under tight datelines.
