Planning Executive

About the role

Planning Executive role at Dextra Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The position reports to the Manufacturing Supply Planning & Control Supervisor and involves managing production planning, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors, and ensuring production schedules are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Report current work progress to management and relevant stakeholders, compare actual performance against the planned schedule, and assess the impact of alternative approaches to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Prepare and release production orders to the Production Team for manufacturing activities
• Prepare and issue production orders for outsourced manufacturing activities with subcontractors
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor the shipment and receipt of materials and products to and from subcontractors to ensure production schedules are achieved
• Communicate and report production plan progress, production status, and potential issues to relevant stakeholders, including the Sales Team, Production Team, and other related departments
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve material, tooling, or capacity constraints that may impact the production schedule

About you

• Bachelor Degree or higher in engineering or any related fields
• Experience at least 3 – 5 years in planning
• Ability to speak and understand business English applied to company working situations
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, intranet, internet, ERP at the level needed for the work application
• Project work experience
• Great communication skills
• Planning and analytical skills
• Good problem solving skills and decision making
• Basic knowledge of supply chain activities, including transformation of natural resources, raw materials, and components into a finished product that is delivered to the end customer
• Clear understanding of production processes
