Planning Executive

• Generate and maintain the Production Planning Master List.
• Add new customer orders to the Master List on a daily basis.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly assembly production plans as instructed by the HOD – Planning.
• Forward approved production plans to Assembly Supervisors and Semi-Finished Store Executive.
• Monitor production progress against the approved plan.
• Run MRP based on approved assembly production plans.
• Monitor material availability for assembly production.
• Coordinate with the Workshop and Purchase Department regarding shortages of raw materials, bought-out items, and semi-finished components.
• Follow up daily to ensure timely material availability.
• Ensure smooth material flow to assembly lines.
• Support production teams in achieving daily production targets.
• Prepare daily valve dispatch plans.
• Coordinate with the Dispatch and Marketing Departments to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
• Update dispatch details in the Master List after shipment.
• Communicate with the Marketing Department regarding order enquiries.
• Provide daily customer pending order status.
• Inform Marketing regarding customer clearance for held orders.
• Coordinate urgent customer delivery requirements.
• Generate stock reports for all stores.
• Coordinate with the Planning Executive for machining and outsourcing requirements.
• Monitor job work requirements as per production plans.
• Inform the Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agency regarding inspection schedules for regular customer orders.
• Coordinate inspection planning to avoid dispatch delays.
• Maintain planning records accurately in ERP/manual systems.
• Update the Production Master List daily.
• Prepare planning reports as required by the HOD – Planning.
• Report planning issues, delays, and shortages promptly.
• Follow company Quality Management System (QMS) procedures.
• Ensure planning records comply with company documentation requirements.
• Support continual improvement and Kaizen activities within the Planning Department.
