Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Planners to achieve key performance objectives
• Manage 500-1000 items per project
• Plan and schedule materials availability to drive production to meet customers delivery commitments
• Coordinate with other departments including Buyer, Operations, Programme and Warehouse for on-time delivery
• Systems data maintenance and integrity, key in purchase parts and fabrication parts correctly
• Identify possible production bottlenecks and have contingencies plans
• Work with existing vendor on the completion of the new revision material or temporary change order
• Renew, monitor and translate forecast into material plan and pull in and out with suppliers accordingly
• Execute materials planning and purchase for production fulfillment
• Ensure on-time delivery of materials from suppliers

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Materials or Industrial Engineering, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Industrial Systems Engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in material planning, production planning, supply chain management, with leadership experience
• Strong requirement of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, advanced excel, kinaxis, power BI, dashboard analysis)
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience with lean manufacturing or six sigma is advantageous
