Planning Manager

About the Role

ZutaCore is looking for an experienced Planning Manager to lead and develop the company’s end-to-end Planning and Production Control function.

The role owns the planning cycle across Demand Planning, Material Planning/MRP, Production Planning, and Production Control , ensuring alignment between business demand, material availability, and production execution.

We are looking for a hands-on planning leader with a strong manufacturing and materials background who can establish robust processes, bring structure to a dynamic environment, and build scalable planning capabilities as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Planning and Production Control function across Demand Planning, Material Planning/MRP, Production Planning, and Production Control.
• Own the end-to-end planning cycle, from demand signals and forecasts through material requirements and production execution.
• Translate customer demand, forecasts, and business priorities into executable material and production plans.
• Drive MRP, material availability, shortage management, inventory planning, and production planning .
• Develop and maintain production and material plans aligned with business priorities, capacity, and customer requirements.
• Identify planning constraints, shortages, risks, and bottlenecks and drive cross-functional resolution.
• Establish and continuously improve standardized and scalable planning processes, methodologies, KPIs, and reporting.
• Work closely with S&OP to align demand, supply, capacity, and priorities while maintaining ownership of operational planning.
• Partner with Procurement, Operations, NPI, Engineering, Quality, Sales, and Finance to ensure effective execution of the plan.
• Lead and develop the Planning team, establishing clear responsibilities, priorities, and performance standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations within a manufacturing environment , including significant hands-on planning experience.
• Proven experience managing Material Planning/MRP, Production Planning, and Demand Planning .
• Strong understanding of MRP, production planning, inventory management, shortage management, and Production Control .
• Previous experience managing and developing a Planning team .
• Strong experience working with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with complex BOMs and internal and/or outsourced manufacturing .
• Experience working with multiple suppliers, material constraints, and changing operational priorities.
• Proven ability to build, improve, and standardize planning processes in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Hebrew and English .
